Key Responsibilities

• Report on breaking news, civic issues, community stories, and current affairs.
• Create engaging video content for social media and digital platforms.
• Conduct on-camera and field interviews.
• Shoot, script, and edit short-form and long-form video stories.
• Cover press conferences, events, and special assignments.
• Work closely with the editorial team to develop impactful visual storytelling.
• Write compelling captions and video descriptions for social media.

Requirements

• Experience in video reporting, journalism, content creation, or digital media.
• Strong camera presence and communication skills in English and/or Urdu.
• Proficiency in mobile journalism, video shooting, and editing tools.
• Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
• Ability to work under deadlines and cover breaking news.
• Passion for storytelling and reporting issues that matter to Karachi.
