Upwork Bidder And Business Development Executive

 

Description:

We are looking for a "strategic, results-driven Upwork Bidder & Business Development Executive" to join our in-house team in Lahore.

 

This is not a “proposal submission” role — we’re looking for someone who can "own and scale our Upwork growth engine end-to-end", from profile positioning to high-converting proposals to closing long-term clients.

 

If you understand how to turn bids into business, this role is for you.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

* Write "highly customized, psychology-driven proposals" focused on conversion (no copy-paste bidding)

* Manage and optimize company Upwork profile(s) for visibility, ranking, and positioning

* Develop niche-based bidding strategies to stand out in competitive markets

* Build a consistent pipeline that drives interviews and long-term clients

* Handle the "full sales funnel": lead identification → proposal → negotiation → closing

* Collaborate with delivery teams to align proposals with actual service capabilities

* Track and report weekly performance metrics (bids, responses, conversions, revenue)

 

What We’re Looking For

 

* 3–4 years of proven Upwork experience with a strong, portfolio-backed track record

* Experience scaling Upwork profiles across multiple niches

* Strong understanding of Upwork algorithm, ranking factors, and marketplace behavior

* Excellent written English with persuasive, client-focused communication

* Expertise in crafting "strategic, non-templated proposal"

* Familiarity with CRM or pipeline tracking tools is a plus
