Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup: Install, calibrate, and configure medical equipment as per manufacturer guidelines and healthcare facility requirements.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular preventive maintenance and timely repairs to ensure the continuous operation of medical devices. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals regarding the operation and functionality of medical equipment.
- Training: Train healthcare staff and technicians on the correct use and handling of equipment to ensure safety and maximize product lifespan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and any technical documentation related to the equipment.
- Compliance: Ensure that all services and repairs comply with regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and timely solutions to their technical problems.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Implement equipment upgrades and modifications when required, ensuring that systems remain up-to-date with the latest technology and safety standards.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability for repairs and replacements.
Qualifications
- DAE or Bachelor’s degree in Bio-medical Engineering
- 2+ Years of experience
- Troubleshooting, Technical Support, and Maintenance & Repair skills
- Field Service and Communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
