Senior Production Officer

Description:

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a proactive and technically sound Senior Production Officer to oversee production operations, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and drive operational efficiency at our Hub facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all production activities comply with GMP, hygiene, food/consumer safety, and EHS standards.
- Oversee shop-floor operations to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production.
- Support execution of daily production plans to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
- Monitor production performance and optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Identify and reduce losses, wastage, and downtime through continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean).
- Analyze process issues and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams during routine checks and breakdowns.
- Train, develop, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and ensure SOP compliance.
- Manage production data through SAP/ERP systems and monitor process orders for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Fresh graduates or up to 4 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of production processes and technical operations
- Knowledge of automation, standardization, and commissioning practices
- Strong supervisory and team management capabilities
- Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems
- Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
