Senior Merchandiser

Description:

Sherwani Apparel is looking for a Senior Merchandiser (Knits) with 10–15 years of proven experience in the garment export industry.

This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who understands the complete merchandising cycle — from sampling to shipment — and can take full ownership of orders.

We are not looking for short-term or temporary applicants. This role requires long-term commitment, responsibility, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising cycle (sampling → approvals → production → shipment)

• Handle direct communication with buyers / buying agencies

• Take full ownership of orders, including timelines and execution

• Ensure proper order follow-ups across all departments (production, QA, finishing, etc.)

• Review and respond to sample comments, approvals, and revisions

• Monitor production progress and resolve issues proactively

• Coordinate shipment readiness and dispatch planning

• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and buyer correspondence

Requirements

• 10–15 years experience in garment merchandising (KNITS ONLY)

• Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, garment construction, and export processes

• Proven ability to handle buyers independently

• Strong coordination with all factory departments

• Must be willing to stay late during shipment deadlines when required

• Ability to take responsibility and ownership of orders

• Must be willing to work on-site at New Karachi Industrial Area
