Description:
Apricart E-Store is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong FMCG procurement background in the Karachi market. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience sourcing FMCG products, managing Karachi-based suppliers, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely product availability.
This position is strictly for candidates with relevant FMCG procurement experience. Candidates from non-FMCG industries will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations for FMCG products.
- Source and negotiate with Karachi-based FMCG suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors across the Karachi market.
- Identify reliable suppliers while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.
- Monitor market trends, product pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement costs.
- Coordinate closely with Warehouse, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure product availability and inventory planning.
- Prepare purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve supply-related issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Lead and improve procurement processes to support business growth.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the FMCG industry.
- Hands-on procurement experience within the Karachi FMCG market is mandatory.
- Strong network of Karachi-based FMCG suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
- Proven expertise in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
