We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with 6 months to 1 year of experience in medical coding. You will play a critical role in reviewing clinical documentation and translating healthcare services into accurate codes. - Location: Near Jamia School, Farooq-e-Azam Road, Rawalpindi (On-site)
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Coding: Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all coding adheres to federal regulations, insurance mandates, and internal company policies.
- Data Integrity: Efficiently input coding data into billing systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Denial Resolution: Collaborate on analyzing and rectifying coding-related denials to maximize reimbursement.
- Clinical Collaboration: Liaise with providers or senior staff to clarify documentation and ensure coding accuracy.
- HIPAA Adherence: Maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data security.
Requirements
- Experience: 6 months – 1 year of hands-on experience in medical coding.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a formal Diploma/Certification in Medical Coding.
- Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Systems: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and standard medical billing software.
