We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with 6 months to 1 years of experience in medical coding. You will play a critical role in reviewing clinical documentation and translating healthcare services into accurate codes. Key Responsibilities

Precision Coding: Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all coding adheres to federal regulations, insurance mandates, and internal company policies. Data Integrity: Efficiently input coding data into billing systems with a high degree of accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience: 6 months to 1 years of hands-on experience in medical coding.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a formal Diploma/Certification in Medical Coding.
• Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Systems: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and standard medical billing software.
• Attributes: Exceptional analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under deadlines
• Denial Resolution: Collaborate on analyzing and rectifying coding-related denials to maximize reimbursement.
• Clinical Collaboration: Liaise with providers or senior staff to clarify documentation and ensure coding accuracy.
• HIPAA Adherence: Maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data security.
