Mechanical Draftsman

Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsman skilled in AutoCAD (2D/3D) with strong knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing drawings. The role involves preparing detailed shop drawings, BOQs, and cutting templates for workshop execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D & 3D drawings in AutoCAD
• Prepare fabrication and manufacturing/shop drawings
• Generate BOQs from engineering drawings
• Conduct site visits for site measurements and preparation of drawings
• Prepare as-built drawings
• Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• Create cutting templates for workshop use
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / DAE / relevant technical certification
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Good understanding of fabrication and industrial drawings
• Experience in BOQ preparation
• Familiarity with structural steel, piping, or equipment drawings (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
