Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to perform land and construction surveys using modern surveying equipment and techniques. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and documenting land features to support planning, design, and construction activities, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project drawings, specifications, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys.
- Measure land, distances, elevations, and angles using total stations, GPS, levels, and other surveying instruments.
- Establish control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for construction works.
- Verify site layouts, alignments, levels, and dimensions according to approved drawings.
- Prepare survey data, drawings, maps, and reports using AutoCAD or relevant software.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams.
- Ensure survey work complies with legal standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor and recheck survey accuracy during construction activities.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Identify discrepancies between site conditions and drawings and report them promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and instruments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar surveying software.
- Familiarity with local land laws, boundaries, and construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
