Junior Penetration Tester

Description:

As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in our company systems, networks, cloud environment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration tests on networks, applications, cloud and systems.
• Perform source code testing for the front and backend.
• Perform vulnerability assessment of Network, Applications, Cloud Infrastructure, etc.
• Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities using various tools and techniques.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests to simulate real-world attacks.
• Document findings and provide detailed reports to the senior team members.
• Collaborate with the IT and development teams to recommend remediation strategies.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of Secure software development life cycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and attack vectors (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH) are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
