Summary: Infinium Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer with a strong focus on hardware infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical setup, maintenance, and repair of our computer systems and peripheral devices, ensuring all hardware assets are optimized for maximum performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and configure physical hardware components, including workstations, laptops, servers, and printers.

Perform hands-on troubleshooting and hardware repairs for faulty components such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.

Manage the inventory of IT assets, ensuring all hardware is tagged, tracked, and maintained in excellent working condition.

Setup and optimize physical network cabling (Ethernet), routers, switches, and access points to ensure stable connectivity.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in hardware maintenance and desktop support.

Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of computer architecture, hardware assembly, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting physical components.

Physical Ability: Ability to handle and move equipment and perform installations in a variety of office environments.

Certifications: CompTIA A+ or similar hardware-focused certifications are highly preferred.
