Generator Technician

Description:

We are hiring an experienced and dedicated Generator Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators and working knowledge of control panels, sensors, and switch systems. This role requires both technical hands-on skills and the ability to lead or mentor junior technicians on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the installation and commissioning of generator systems as per manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.

· Install, maintain, and repair generators of various capacities

· Perform preventive and routine maintenance

· Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs

· Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues

· Maintain service reports and logs

· Follow safety protocols during fieldwork

· Respond to emergency breakdowns when required

Requirements:

· Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Technology.

· Minimum 4 years of experience in generator maintenance.

· Basic understanding of control systems, switches, and sensors relevant to generator operation.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites/projects.
