Solar Technician

Description:

The Solar Technician role is a part-time, hybrid position based in the Karachi Division, with some tasks that can be performed from home such as documentation and remote system monitoring. On-site responsibilities include assisting with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems, including panels, inverters, mounting structures, and wiring. The Solar Technician will perform routine inspections, diagnose performance issues, and support troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient power generation. The role also involves recording system data, preparing basic reports, coordinating with senior engineers and clients, and following safety procedures and relevant electrical standards in all work activities.
Qualifications
 

• Candidates should possess skills in solar systems and solar power, with practical knowledge of installation, configuration, and basic design.
• Candidates should possess skills related to the solar industry, including awareness of current technologies, components, and industry best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting and power generation, with the ability to identify faults, test components, and restore system performance safely.
• Relevant technical education or vocational training in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience working with electrical tools and measurement instruments, and understanding of safety protocols for electrical and rooftop /Height work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow technical instructions, and effective communication with team members and clients are advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site within Karachi Division and adapt to a hybrid schedule combining fieldwork and remote tasks.
