Chiller & Commercial Refrigeration Technician

SK Luminous is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC, Chiller & Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our technical engineering team.

The candidate will be responsible for installation, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, chillers, commercial refrigerators and cold storage equipment at industrial, commercial and residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Operation and maintenance of chillers (Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled).
- Maintenance and repair of commercial refrigerators, freezers and cold storage systems.
- Troubleshooting of compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration circuits.
- Refrigerant gas charging, recovery, leak detection and pressure testing.
- Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers and ventilation systems.
- Troubleshooting of electrical control panels, thermostats, sensors and controllers.
- Understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical wiring and HVAC control systems.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Monitoring system performance, temperature control and energy efficiency.
- Conducting technical site inspections and providing maintenance support to clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- DAE in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical or Electrical Technology.
- 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Practical experience with chillers and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Knowledge of compressors, refrigerants, expansion valves and refrigeration components.
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and handle client-site assignments.

- Industrial and commercial HVAC systems.

- Commercial kitchen refrigeration.
- Cold rooms and cold storage facilities.

- Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, factories and commercial buildings.
- HVAC preventive maintenance and facility management.
