Design Manager

Description:

Experience and Qualifications:

• 10 - 15 years of progressive engineering experience in infrastructure design, with a comprehensive background in civil engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SewerGems, WaterGems, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, Civil3D, HEC-HMS, WMS, and BIM.

Responsibilities:

• Lead independently in the drainage component across projects, overseeing design and tendering processes.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical documents, and project documentation.
• Conduct field assessments, analyses, and evaluations as necessary.
• Mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance and training recommendations.
• Participate in design approval processes and weekly progress meetings with clients.
• Conduct site visits as required during project execution.
• Develop hydraulic models for various utilities.
• Prepare tender and construction drawings.
• Review drawings prepared by CAD Team for accuracy and compliance.
