Wise Medical Billing supports U.S. healthcare providers with end-to-end billing and revenue cycle management. We're hiring a Medical Coding Specialist to review clinical documentation and assign accurate codes for our U.S. clients. This role suits someone detail-obsessed who wants to build deep, exportable expertise in U.S. medical coding.

What You'll Do

• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations, payer policies, and industry standards
• Perform coding audits and quality checks to reduce errors and denials
• Work closely with providers and billing teams to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues
• Stay current on coding updates, payer guidelines, and healthcare regulations
• Optimize claims for accurate, maximum reimbursement
• Support overall revenue cycle efficiency
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 2+ years of hands-on medical coding experience
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Fluent written and spoken English to collaborate with U.S. providers and team members
• Able to work in-office on the 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (PKT) shift, Monday to Friday
