Business Development Manager

Description:

Emirates Logistics Pakistan, a leading logistics company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth, maintain key client relationships, and expand business opportunities in warehousing, transportation, WMS, and freight forwarding. The ideal candidate should have expertise in contract management, financial oversight, and key account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Key Account Management:

✅ Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
✅ Identify new business opportunities in warehousing, transportation, WMS, and freight forwarding.
✅ Respond to RFQs and RFPs, understand requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
✅ Collaborate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and execution of services for new clients.
✅ Review customer portfolios for upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
✅ Conduct feasibility assessments for potential warehousing projects, including cost analysis and market demand evaluation.
✅ Develop pricing models and commercial proposals for business expansion.
✅ Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.

Contract & Commercial Management:

✅ Negotiate and finalize contracts with customers, ensuring favorable terms while mitigating risks.
✅ Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any commercial disputes.
✅ Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and improve contract templates.

Financial Management & Collections:

✅ Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely recovery of overdue balances.
✅ Work with finance and operations teams to improve cash flow and minimize credit risks.
✅ Implement strategies to reduce payment delays and enhance customer credit management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred).
✔ Experience: 3-5 years in business development, logistics, or key account management.
✔ Skills:

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Expertise in financial oversight and collections
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of logistics industry trends and competitive landscape
