Description:
As a Business Advisor at Sapere, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our documents. Your key responsibilities will include:
Role & Responsibility
- Reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to formatting guidelines
- Identifying and correcting errors, typos, and inconsistencies in documents
- Organizing and maintaining document libraries and databases
- Collaborating with internal teams to address document-related queries and issues
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues on document management best practices
- Monitoring document changes and revisions, maintaining version control, and tracking document history
- Review and underwrite financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns (with NOAs), business plans, projections, and AP/AR summaries prepared by the team.
- Verify numerical accuracy, tax positions, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Provide clear, structured feedback to the preparation team and confirm that revisions have been correctly applied.
- Maintain review checklists and quality standards across all files.
- Prepare complete financial statements for corporate clients (income statement, balance sheet, cash-flow statement, notes).
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns in line with current regulations and client-specific circumstances.
- Prepare personal tax returns and reconcile against Notice of Assessments (NOAs).
- Develop business plans and multi-year financial projections to support client financing, growth, and internal planning needs.
- Compile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) summaries and supporting schedules.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready working papers for every engagement.
- Coordinate with the review team to resolve queries and incorporate feedback quickly
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree e in Accounting (BSc / B.Com) or ACCA
- 1-2 years of experience in document control or related role
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
