Description:
We are hiring a Billing Executive – Freight & Last Mile Delivery to manage end-to-end invoicing for UAE logistics operations. This role requires strong UAE logistics billing exposure, VAT-compliant invoicing, POD-based billing, and contract rate validation.
This position is fully onsite in Lahore, and UAE logistics billing experience is mandatory due to customer documentation standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end billing and invoicing for Freight & Last Mile Delivery (LMD) operations
- Raise accurate, timely, VAT-compliant invoices based on POD, costing, rate cards, and approved contracts
- Ensure correct customer references, PR/LPO numbers, and special billing instructions
- Maintain and control Rate Card Matrix & Contract Master, including revisions, validity tracking, and compliance
- Identify outdated or missing rate cards, enforce spot rate approvals, and close commercial gaps
- Validate billing against approved commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements
- Ensure system data integrity, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation
- Drive POD follow-ups, missing cost closures, and billing process improvements & automation
Finance Operations, Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Support VAT compliance checks to ensure complete and accurate vatable transaction coverage
- Reconcile vendor SOAs and booked vs non-booked AP liability (limited to 2025 invoices)
- Identify critical vendors at hold risk, enforce monthly reconciliations, and support payment coordination
- Support PR & PO liability accounting discipline at ordering stage
- Review credit terms, highlight exceptions, and support renegotiation inputs
- Interface with Commercial, Operations, AR, Finance, Customers, and Auditors
- Work on Freight Portal, Yooz, QuickBooks, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prepare weekly billing status reports and ad-hoc management reporting
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- CA Inter / ACCA (Part Qualified) preferred
- 2–5 years of billing, invoicing, or O2C experience in logistics / freight / courier / last mile delivery
- Mandatory UAE logistics billing experience (Freight / Courier / Last Mile Delivery)
- Strong exposure to UAE VAT invoicing, documentation standards, and POD-based billing
- Hands-on experience in contract billing, rate card management, and commercial reconciliation
- Strong Excel-based reconciliation, analysis, and reporting skills
