Assistant Manager

Description:

Ilyas Saeed & Co., Chartered Accountants, a QCR-rated firm by ICAP, listed in Category A of SBP’s panel of auditors and registered with the Audit Oversight Board (AOB), is inviting applications for the following key positions at our Karachi office:

• Manager – Audit

• Lead statutory, internal, and special audits across various sectors.

• Plan and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Review working papers and finalize audit reports and management letters.

• Coordinate with clients to resolve technical accounting and audit issues.

• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and trainees.

• Keep up to date with IFRS, ISAs, and other applicable frameworks.

• Support senior management in business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (ICAP or equivalent qualification).

• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in audit and assurance.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software/tools.

2 . Assistant Manager – Advisory

• Assist in business valuations, feasibility studies, and financial due diligence projects.

• Prepare financial models and conduct in-depth financial and market analysis.

• Support proposal development and project planning.

• Prepare client deliverables, presentations, and reports.

• Work closely with advisory team members and assist in managing client expectations.

• Conduct industry research and benchmarking as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Part-qualified Chartered Accountant or ACCA

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in advisory or consultancy services.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant tools.
