Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Upwork Bidder role based in Multan. The Upwork Bidder will be responsible for identifying relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms, crafting tailored proposals, and maintaining a strong bid pipeline aligned with the company’s IT and digital marketing services. Daily tasks include researching client requirements, preparing persuasive cover letters, estimating budgets and timelines in collaboration with technical teams, and following up on submitted bids. The role also involves coordinating with project managers and technical leads to refine offerings, tracking conversion rates, and optimizing bidding strategies based on performance data. The ideal candidate will represent WarpMill professionally in written communication, manage client pre-sales conversations, and support the handover from prospect to project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong proposal and business writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and tailored bids for web, mobile, and marketing projects.
• Experience with online freelancing platforms (especially Upwork), including profile optimization, job filtering, and bid management.
• Basic understanding of software and web development services (e.g., mobile apps, custom web applications, SaaS, eCommerce) to translate client needs into accurate proposals.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (e.g., SEO, social media marketing, lead generation, branding) to position services effectively.
• Strong research and analytical skills to qualify leads, understand client industries, and estimate scope, budget, and timelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with professional communication skills and the ability to handle client questions during pre-sales discussions.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort working in a sales-driven environment with targets related to proposals submitted, responses secured, and deals closed.
• Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools (e.g., spreadsheets, task trackers, or CRM software) for tracking bids and performance metrics.
