ABOUT THE ROLE As a Twilio Flex Engineer at Savvital, you will be the technical lead for developing and customizing cloud-based contact center solutions for our international clients. This role is highly versatile—whether your strengths lie in Frontend, Backend, or Full-stack development, you will play a critical part in building the communication infrastructure that keeps businesses and their customers connected in real-time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Twilio Flex Customization: Extend and customize Twilio Flex for contact center operations, ensuring a seamless experience for agents and customers.
• Workflow Engineering: Configure and manage complex workflows using TaskRouter, Twilio Studio, and serverless functions.
• Omnichannel Integration: Build and maintain communication flows across Voice, SMS, Chat, and WhatsApp.
• System Integration: Develop APIs and handle webhooks to integrate Twilio with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), databases, and third-party tools.
• UI/UX Enhancement: Customize the React-based Flex UI to build agent-facing tools and dashboards that improve operational usability.
• Operational Logic: Implement sophisticated call routing, queue logic, and business rules to optimize contact center performance.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Technical Experience: 3+ years of software development experience with a strong grasp of APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems.
• Twilio Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Twilio APIs (Voice, SMS, Video, or Conversations). Direct experience with Twilio Flex plugins and TaskRouter is highly preferred.
• Stack Flexibility:
• Backend: Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java for building scalable integrations.
• Frontend: Strong experience with React and TypeScript for UI customization.
• Mindset: A problem-solver who understands communication systems as a whole, not just isolated APIs.
• Communication: Strong spoken and written English skills to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
