Technical Lead

Description:

Inov8lab is building an AI-powered outreach and sales automation platform for B2B service providers in the US market. We deploy 16 specialised AI agents, a RAG knowledge base, browser automation, and a full React operations dashboard. One founder. No fluff. We ship fast and we ship right.

We need someone who has run a dev team before, makes hard technical calls without hesitation, and does not need to be managed. You will coordinate 5 other developers, own the architecture, and report directly to the founder — once a week, in plain English.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

— Full system architecture across FastAPI, LangGraph, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS EC2

— Daily standups, code reviews, and PR approvals across 4 developers

— All AWS infrastructure decisions — t3.large EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudWatch

— Keeping 134 documented spec tasks on track across a 45-day sprint with zero excuses

— Integration testing — agents must communicate correctly through LangGraph shared state

— API scaffolding — feature flags for pending API integrations built as inactive placeholders

YOU MUST HAVE

— Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy — production experience, not tutorials

— Led a team of at least 3 developers and shipped a real product from zero to live

— AWS — EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, IAM — you have configured this before in production

— LangGraph or LangChain — must be able to lead it even if not the deepest expert on the team

— Can explain any technical decision in plain English to a non-technical founder — no jargon
