Description:
T Zync is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Business Analyst to drive measurable business and product outcomes across clinical and operational areas. This is not a general support role. Your primary responsibility is converting complex clinical, operational, billing, and compliance needs into testable, implementation-ready software requirements. You will reduce ambiguity before engineering begins and maintain end-to-end traceability from the initial business problem through to implementation, validation, and release.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Discovery: Interview stakeholders, observe workflows, analyze current processes, and diagnose root causes (looking beyond surface-level requests).
- Requirements Engineering: Produce precise user stories, functional requirements, business rules, data requirements, validations, permissions, exceptions, and testable acceptance criteria.
- Workflow Design: Map current-state and future-state processes for scheduling, documentation, medications, onboarding, billing, permissions, files, and core platform areas.
- Scope Control: Distinguish between approved scope, defects, enhancements, assumptions, and future ideas. Maintain a strict decision log to prevent silent scope expansion.
- Backlog Readiness: Ensure work is clear, prioritized, dependency-aware, and fully estimated before entering active development.
- Domain Translation: Bridge clinical and operational terminology with engineering execution while strictly preserving regulatory and business intent.
- Release Validation: Support demos and UAT by verifying delivered behavior against approved requirements and documented exceptions.
- Change Management: Assess downstream impacts on reporting, permissions, mobile workflows, billing, audit history, documentation, and training when requirements shift.
- Documentation Governance: Maintain a single authoritative source of requirements and archive superseded decisions to eliminate conflicting instructions.
Required Recurring Deliverables
- Implementation-Ready User Stories: Detailed with purpose, actors, preconditions, primary flows, alternate flows, validation rules, permissions, audit requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Process Maps: Clear current-state and future-state mapping for all material workflows.
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM): Connecting business needs, tickets, designs, test evidence, decisions, and release status.
- Open-Question & Decision Log: Tracking owner, due date, outcome, and impact.
- Weekly Backlog-Readiness Report: Identifying blocked, ambiguous, duplicated, or dependency-sensitive items.
- Release Validation Summary: Outlining accepted behavior, known limitations, deferred scope, and operational or training impacts.
