Senior Underwriter

Description:

We're looking for an experienced Head of Underwriting to lead our General Insurance underwriting function and drive profitable growth through strategic risk management, digital innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Lead underwriting strategy across Health, Hospitalization, Personal Accident, and Asset Insurance.

✔ Define risk appetite, pricing frameworks, and underwriting policies.

✔ Drive portfolio profitability through data-driven decision-making.

✔ Lead digital, embedded, and cashless insurance initiatives.

✔ Ensure SECP compliance and regulatory excellence.

✔ Build and mentor a high-performing underwriting team.

Requirements

✅ Advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.

✅ Professional actuarial qualifications are preferred.

✅ Extensive experience in General Insurance underwriting and leadership.

✅ Strong understanding of risk management, pricing, digital insurance, and regulatory compliance.
