Description:
We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Shopify Developer with strong expertise in Shopify custom development, both frontend and backend. You’ll lead the implementation of high-performance storefronts, custom apps, and seamless third-party integrations that elevate user experience and streamline store operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Build custom Shopify apps (public, private, embedded) using Node.js or similar stacks.
- Integrate third-party APIs (CRM, ERP, fulfillment systems, analytics, etc.) with Shopify.
- Use Shopify’s Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL to implement advanced features.
- Implement and manage Shopify Plus features like checkout customization and Shopify Functions.
- Lead performance optimization, A/B testing, and UX improvements across stores.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, ops) for end-to-end project delivery.
- Stay updated with Shopify ecosystem changes, new APIs, and best practices.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Deep understanding of Liquid templating language, theme architecture, and metafields.
- Strong in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and frontend tooling.
- Experience building apps with Node.js, Express, and Shopify Polaris (React).
- Proficient in REST & GraphQL APIs and Shopify CLI.
- Familiarity with Hydrogen and headless Shopify development is a plus.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and code review skills.
- Excellent communication and project ownership.
