POSITION General Manager Academics United Charter Schools - A Project of Beaconhouse QUALIFICATION Minimum Master's degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university. EXPERIENCE Minimum 15 years of experience in education, with progressive leadership roles in Academics and Education Management. Strong expertise in curriculum development, teacher training, professional development, and academic administration. Experience leading multi-campus/regional teams, implementing academic strategy, and overseeing quality assurance across school networks is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure consistent academic standards and quality across UCS.
• Lead and develop the Academics Department through coaching, mentoring, delegation, and succession planning.
• Develop and implement academic strategies, policies, curriculum, and frameworks aligned with UCS objectives.
• Oversee academic resources, assessment, benchmarking, monitoring, KPIs, and quality assurance.
• Lead teacher training, professional development, and capacity-building initiatives.
• Work with regional teams and School Heads to identify academic gaps and implement improvement plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in teaching, learning, assessment, and educational technology.
• Ensure effective collaboration with senior leadership and other functions for successful implementation across UCS. SKILLS
