Responsibilities And Impact
 

  • Assist in the organization and categorization of data assets within the data catalog.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the data catalog, defining functionalities and ensuring alignment with overall data governance goals.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of metadata across all data entries.
  • Promote data discoverability and machine readability to enhance data usability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business stewards, and technical data stewards to ensure requirements are met for data catalog integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve data catalog standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of data catalog policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions to educate stakeholders on data catalog functionalities and best practices.
     

What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Data Management, Knowledge Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data management principles and metadata standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of graph databases and understanding of SQL and SPARQL.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data stewardship practices.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in metadata management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
