Senior Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting data-driven decision-making through analytics and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and record all accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, summaries, and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely vendor and client settlements.
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking activities.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and relevant departments for documentation and reporting needs.
• Continuously improve accounting systems, workflows, and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.Com / CA Inter / ICMA (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience (preferably in FMCG, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors)
