Speakeasy Marketing is hiring a remote Sales Automation & CRM Operations Specialist to help us reduce repetitive manual sales operations work and replace it with reliable, well-documented automations.
This is a full-time role. This person will work on internal sales and lead-generation automation systems involving tools like Zoho CRM, PhoneBurner, Keap, Google Sheets, n8n, Supabase, Apollo, Apify, Gmail/email alerts, and GitHub.
We are not looking for someone who only builds simple one-step Zaps. We need someone who can understand messy sales operations workflows, clarify business rules, build safe automations, test them properly, document them clearly, and monitor them after launch.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automations across CRM, dialer, email, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Automate lead assignment, appointment updates, status changes, tagging, sales reporting, enrichment, and operational follow-ups.
- Create reliable syncs between tools such as Zoho CRM, PhoneBurner, Keap, Google Sheets, Supabase, Apollo, Apify, and internal reports.
- Build and maintain n8n workflows, including scheduled workflows, webhooks, sub-workflows, API calls, branching logic, and error handling.
- Debug failed automations and improve existing workflows.
- Build safeguards for duplicates, missing data, incorrect statuses, failed runs, partial updates, and API failures.
- Create logs, audit trails, alerts, and basic documentation for each automation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building business process, sales operations, CRM, or RevOps automations.
- Strong understanding of CRM workflows, lead records, contact records, statuses, tags, assignments, and reporting.
- Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Zoho Flow, Workato, Pabbly, or similar.
- Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, JSON, and basic data transformations.
- Strong Google Sheets skills.
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation habits.
- Ability to understand messy manual processes and turn them into clear workflow logic.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.
