Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement localized risk frameworks tailored to BNPL services and customer behaviors in Pakistan

• Lead and manage credit risk and fraud risk operations, ensuring robust mitigation strategies and effective controls

• Build and mentor a local risk team, providing training, guidance, and performance monitoring

• Collaborate closely with product, sales, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of risk strategies with business objectives

• Continuously monitor emerging risks, review KPIs, and ensure the company’s lending operations meet all regulatory compliance requirements

• Evaluate credit scoring models, risk analytics tools, and automation strategies for enhanced decision-making

• Prepare and deliver detailed risk reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk, digital lending, fraud risk management, or related areas (BNPL experience is a plus)

• In-depth understanding of NBFC regulations, risk tools, and fintech-based lending models

• Proven expertise in fraud monitoring systems, credit risk scoring, and portfolio risk assessment

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a track record of building and managing teams

• Fluent in Urdu and English, both written and verbal

• Must be based in Islamabad or willing to relocate
