Quality Assurance Analyst

Description:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand platform requirements and regulatory compliance standards
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate platform functionalities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential risks in platform functionalities
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data processed by the platform
• Conduct thorough reviews of platform documentation, including user guides and compliance documentation, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in regulatory compliance technology
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and development teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback, suggesting process improvements, and participating in quality assurance process enhancements



 

Requirements
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on testing software applications in regulatory compliance or financial services domains
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance concepts, particularly in areas such as AML, CFT, and KYC
• Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) to write data validation scripts and automate QA processes.
• Ability to write and optimise complex SQL and NoSQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and prioritise workload based on project deadlines and business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL processes to streamline data integration
• Experience with regulatory compliance platforms or software solutions, particularly in AML, CFT, and KYC domains
• Familiarity with financial services industry regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for regression testing and continuous integration
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR)
• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting
