Project Engineer

Description:

Haris & Co. is urgently hiring a Project Engineer (Civil) for its high-rise construction projects in Karachi. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on experience in structural works, site supervision, and execution of high-rise buildings in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must be a Karachi resident with a civil engineering background and a strong portfolio in managing high-rise construction.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely execution of site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Candidates with NED University background will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site operations for high-rise construction projects.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for execution schedules.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and ensure work is executed as per approved plans.

• Monitor quality and safety standards on the site.

• Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and on-site construction issues.

• Assist in the planning and procurement of materials and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferably from NED University).

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, especially with high-rise projects and contractors.

• In-depth knowledge of structural drawings, civil codes, site execution, and construction methodologies.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be a Karachi-based resident with relevant industry experience.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle site responsibilities independently.
