Description:
The Performance Marketing Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to drive qualified leads for SaaS clients. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining marketing strategies across channels such as paid search, social media, and display, while monitoring performance metrics and adjusting campaigns to improve ROI. The role involves conducting market research to understand target audiences, competitor positioning, and emerging trends, as well as collaborating with internal teams to align campaigns with client goals. The specialist will prepare regular performance reports, manage budgets, and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams, and present campaign insights clearly.
- Proficiency in Market Research to analyze audience behavior, industry trends, and competitor strategies.
- Experience in Sales-related activities such as lead generation support and funnel optimization.
- Ability to develop and execute Marketing Strategy focused on performance and measurable outcomes.
- Customer Service mindset to respond promptly to client needs and maintain long-term relationships.
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics tools).
- Data analysis skills and familiarity with key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rate.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines.
Meta Ads
- Build and manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns through Meta Ads Manager
- Develop lead-generation and conversion-focused campaigns
- Build and optimize audience segments, retargeting, and lookalike audiences
- Test creative, copy, offers, hooks, and calls to action
- Monitor campaign performance and identify creative fatigue
- Optimize campaigns based on CPL, CPA, CTR, CPM, ROAS, and conversion rates
- Recommend new creative and messaging angles based on campaign data
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns to improve performance
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance regularly and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze metrics such as CPA, CPL, ROAS, CTR, CPC, CPM, CVR, and conversion volume
- Use data to determine what is working, what is underperforming, and what needs to change
- Create performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
- Identify issues in the funnel that may be impacting conversion rates
- Work with landing pages, creatives, messaging, and targeting to improve overall campaign performance
- Make decisions based on measurable results rather than assumptions
- Landing Pages & Conversion Optimization
- Review landing pages to identify potential conversion issues
- Recommend improvements to page structure, messaging, CTAs, and user experience
- Ensure ad messaging and landing page content are aligned
- Monitor landing-page conversion rates and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with relevant team members to implement CRO improvements
Basic SEO & Website Support
- Understand the fundamentals of SEO and Local SEO
- Conduct basic keyword and competitor research
- Understand how website content, page structure, and keywords impact search visibility
- Identify basic on-page SEO opportunities, including titles, headings, URLs, and content
- Understand Google Search Console and basic organic performance metrics
- Identify simple technical or website issues that may impact SEO or conversions
- Support SEO initiatives as needed and develop these skills further over time
- Advanced SEO experience is not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing
- Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Proven experience running campaigns focused on leads, conversions, or revenue
- Strong understanding of campaign structure, targeting, bidding, optimization, and testing
- Comfortable managing advertising budgets and optimizing spend based on performance
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Understanding of key performance metrics including CPA, CPL, ROAS, CTR, CPC, CPM, and CVR
- Experience with conversion tracking and analytics
- Strong understanding of landing pages and conversion funnels
- Ability to independently identify problems and recommend solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Basic understanding of SEO is preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn and develop SEO/AEO skills
