Patient Care Specialist

Description:

The Patient Care Specialist – US Healthcare is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. In this position, you will communicate with patients and/or caregivers from US-based healthcare practices, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, verifying information, and documenting interactions accurately in clinical or practice management systems. You will use medical terminology appropriately while gathering patient information, explaining basic procedures or next steps as directed by protocols, and escalating clinical concerns to licensed professionals when needed. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, updating records, following standardized scripts and guidelines, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security requirements. You will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors, participate in training, and consistently work to improve service quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, active listening, and a professional, empathetic phone manner.
• Patient Care and Direct Patient Care skills, with the ability to support patient needs, show empathy, and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and basic Medicine concepts relevant to US healthcare workflows, with the ability to use and understand common clinical terms.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping within healthcare or CRM systems.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Lahore, with reliability in shift attendance and adherence to schedules.
• Prior experience in a US healthcare, medical call center, or BPO environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with computers, productivity tools, and telecommunication systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
