Motor Claims Officer

Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, one of Pakistan’s most reputable names in the general insurance sector, is seeking a Motor Claims Officer to join its Motor Head Office located at I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. This role is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, customer-centric, and passionate about delivering efficient claims support during critical times for clients.

As a Motor Claims Officer, you will play a key role in the end-to-end management of motor insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and compliance with both internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders, including customers, surveyors, garages, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register, assess, and process motor insurance claims promptly and accurately

• Collaborate with garages, surveyors, clients, and internal teams to gather and verify claim information

• Analyze and review damage reports and repair estimates to determine validity and scope

• Approve repair and settlement payments within assigned authority limits

• Ensure claims processing aligns with policy terms, company SOPs, and insurance regulatory guidelines

• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy

• Maintain thorough and organized claim records; prepare detailed periodic reports for management

• Identify and report potentially fraudulent claims to support fraud detection efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 16 years of education or a Bachelor’s degree (must have graduated in 2020 or earlier)

• Associate degrees are not accepted

• 1–3 years of proven experience in Motor Underwriting is required

• Prior work in insurance claims, underwriting, or operations is highly preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and data handling tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder coordination skills

• Solid organizational and time management abilities
