Manager Risk Advisory IT

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Risk Advisory IT at Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants in Islamabad. The role involves managing day-to-day risk advisory tasks related to information technology, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance on IT risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and manage IT-related risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, system failures, and technology compliance risks.
• Develop and implement risk management frameworks and strategies for clients to mitigate IT risks.
• Perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Monitor IT systems and processes for risk indicators and potential threats.
• Advise clients on IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) strategies.
• Provide guidance on the design and implementation of IT controls and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure clients comply with relevant regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI DSS, SOX, and other industry-specific standards.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Conduct IT risk audits and reviews, identify gaps, and recommend improvements in the organization's risk management processes.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and processes are followed.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to raise awareness about IT risks and the importance of compliance.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT risk management, IT audit, or advisory roles

Qualification:

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are mandatory.
