Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager – Electronics (Design & R&D) to lead our electronics design and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, RF design, PCB development, and ML/ NLP applications within the electronics domain. The role requires an individual who can lead complex design projects, mentor engineering teams, and contribute to next-generation product development in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electronic systems and solutions from concept to production.
- Manage and oversee R&D projects related to embedded systems, RF communication, ML/NLP integration, and GNSS technologies.
- Drive innovation by researching new technologies and incorporating advanced methodologies into design processes.
- Supervise and mentor a team of electronics and embedded engineers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Design and review schematics, PCB layouts, and ensure compliance with design standards and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless product integration.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and techniques for improving signal processing, data acquisition, and hardware performance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing for new designs.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for designs, test results, and project progress.
- Interface with suppliers, customers, and certification bodies to ensure product compliance and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be preferred.
- 5–8 years of industrial experience in electronics design and R&D.
- Proven expertise in PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence).
- Solid understanding of GNSS systems and related communication protocols.
- Experience with machine learning / NLP integration in embedded platforms or signal processing systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and embedded software development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
