Manager Accounts & Finance

Description:

A well-established organization is seeking a Manager Accounts & Finance with strong expertise in financial oversight, reporting, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate must possess substantial experience in the accounting and finance domain, with proven leadership in managing teams and financial operations. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in sectors such as food, retail, or multi-chain restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily financial operations including budgeting, cash flow, financial forecasting, and cost control.

• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

• Supervise and lead accounting teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

• Monitor and enhance internal financial controls and processes for optimum efficiency.

• Design and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, create projections, and provide insight into performance metrics.

• Utilize accounting systems effectively and apply advanced Excel-based financial modeling and analysis techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or an equivalent qualification such as CA Inter (with completed articleship), ACCA, or CPA.

• A minimum of 5–6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.

• Sector experience in food industry, retail, or multi-chain restaurant operations will be a strong plus.

• Strong proficiency in managing financial controls, reporting, and planning functions.

• Expertise in accounting software and advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
