Legal Counsel

Description:

Freebird Music Entertainment, a fast-growing label known for its vibrant culture and dedication to artist development are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Legal Counsel. This role involves handling general legal matters with a focus on intellectual property (basic copyright experience needed) and commercial dispute resolution, which is based in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on copyright-related IP matters, including basic registration and licensing.

• Assist with dispute resolution, including litigation support and settlement negotiations.

• Review and draft standard commercial agreements.

• Support compliance and corporate governance tasks.

Requirements:

• Law degree and licensed (or eligible to practice) in Pakistan.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Corporate and Copyright law.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English.
