Description:
Furniture is a premium custom furniture studio producing bespoke residential pieces for clients across Pakistan. We're hiring a Production Supervisor to run the floor at our Korangi facility.
What you'll do
- Supervise and coordinate workers assembling wood furniture across the production line
- Plan raw material and consumable requirements; flag shortages before they stop production
- Run sample and in-process quality checks against approved specifications; train workers to correct defects
- Oversee parts coming in from external vendors and in-house production
- Source and supply materials to vendors, and track their output against deadlines
- Manage packing, handling, and delivery coordination to client sites
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in furniture manufacturing, at least 2 in a supervisory role (furniture industry experience is essential — not general manufacturing)
- Able to read and work from shop drawings and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of solid wood, veneer, polish/finishing, and upholstery processes
- Experience coordinating vendors and job workers
- Basic Excel and reporting
