Finance Associate

Description:

PFOC is looking for a Finance Associate to join their team at the Lahore Head Office. This position is perfect for individuals with fresh to 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, or related fields. As a Finance Associate, you will support financial consultants in delivering outstanding service to both local and international clients. This role will offer valuable exposure to diverse industries and financial challenges, helping you grow in the finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Support:

  • Assist financial consultants in preparing financial models, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights for external clients.

  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.

  • Address client financial queries and provide insights to support their decision-making.

  • Participate in client-facing meetings and presentations as required, ensuring professional representation of the firm.

• Financial Analysis:

  • Clean and organize financial data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

  • Support the development of customized financial reports tailored to client needs.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in client operations.

• Budgeting and Compliance:

  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for client projects.

  • Support the preparation of tax returns, compliance reports, and other statutory filings for clients.

  • Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of financial systems to enhance client service delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Fresh graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial standards, and data analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks is a plus.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a client-focused environment.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, client-facing role.

• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Preferred (Optional):

• Knowledge of international tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools.

• Previous internship or work experience in a client-facing finance role.
