Deputy Director

Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a Deputy Director. The Deputy Director will oversee daily operations, implement strategic initiatives, manage and support project teams, and engage with stakeholders and partners. Responsibilities include advocacy for climate justice, overseeing awareness campaigns, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and participating in strategic planning and development activities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience, with skills in overseeing project teams and operations
• Understanding of environmental issues and UN Sustainable Development Goals
• Advocacy and public speaking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in campaign management and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in nonprofit or youth-focused organizations is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
