Credit Review Manager

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Credit Review Manager to oversee credit operations, evaluate customer creditworthiness, and ensure effective credit risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor the Review and approve credit applications within delegated authority.

* Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial, behavioral and alternative data.

* Ensure compliance with credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk frameworks.

* Escalate high-risk cases to senior management when required.

* Develop and update credit policies, scorecards and approval matrices.

* Recommend changes to improve approval quality and portfolio performance.

* Support the design and implementation of automated credit decision engines.

* Monitor delinquency, default, write-off and recovery trends.

* Analyze portfolio performance and identify emerging risks.

* Prepare risk reports and dashboards for management review.

* Recommend corrective actions to control NPL and bad debt levels.

* Develop and enhance fraud detection rules.

* Investigate suspicious applications and fraud patterns.

* Coordinate with collections, operations, and compliance team.

* Lead and mentor credit analysts and review officers.

* Set KPIs and monitor team productivity and quality.

* Conduct training on underwriting standards and risk policies.

* Ensure compliance with Pakistan Banking regulations and internal policies.

* Support internal and external audits.

* Maintain accurate documentation of credit decisions and approvals

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.

* 3–5 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, consumer lending, digital lending, banking, NBFI or fintech.

* At least 2-3 years of team management experience.

* Strong understanding of Pakistan lending regulations and credit bureau practices.

* Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools.

* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
