Civil Estimator

Description:

Telerelation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential developments. This role requires strong expertise in civil estimation, with HVAC and MEP estimation knowledge considered a valuable plus. The position combines technical analysis, cost management, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure competitive and precise project bids.

Key Responsibilities

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Perform quantity take-offs for civil works, including concrete, steel, masonry, finishes, and site development.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns for civil projects.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and update cost databases, estimation tools, and historical records.

Provide technical input during project planning and execution phases.

Support multidisciplinary projects by assisting in HVAC and MEP estimation when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

3–5+ years of proven experience as a Civil Estimator in construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, cost analysis, and tendering processes.

Proficiency in estimation software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, Primavera, or specialized tools).

Familiarity with HVAC and MEP systems estimation is a plus.

Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
