Backend Developer

Description:

BlueHealth is seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves building a modern web application for managing medication requests and workflows. Key responsibilities include developing scalable APIs, optimizing database performance, and implementing efficient backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Flask or Django.
• Optimize database queries in PostgreSQL for performance and efficiency.
• Implement task queues and workflows with Celery.
• Improve backend performance for handling large-scale data.
• Leverage Redis for caching to enhance application responsiveness.
• Ensure seamless data migration from Airtable with high accuracy.
• Manage authentication and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Write comprehensive tests to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with the frontend team for smooth API integration.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python with experience in Flask or Django frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and backend development.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL with query optimization skills.
• Familiarity with Redis and Celery for workflow automation.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
