Assistant Accountant

Description:

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices, particularly with experience in QuickBooks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting efficient financial operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers.

• Reconcile bank and financial accounts regularly.

• Prepare and assist with the generation of financial reports and statements.

• Manage both accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Utilize QuickBooks software to accurately enter and manage financial data.

• Support the team during month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal company policies.

• Collaborate with the finance department to improve reporting and financial operations.

• Take on additional finance-related duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and high organizational capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Salary:

• Monthly Salary Range: 50000 to 70000
