Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is looking for a bright and energetic resource for the role of Accounts Officer for its Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in university-wide financial planning, budgeting, and reporting in accordance with institutional policies.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive accounting records for projects and grants.
- Manage the financial aspects of externally funded projects, including budgeting, disbursement, fund utilization, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial reports, including those for international donors.
- Maintain organized and compliant financial documentation for research and grant-funded projects.
- Monitor project and departmental budgets, conduct variance analysis, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, donor regulations, and institutional financial policies.
- Liaise with academic and administrative departments to ensure alignment of programmatic and financial reporting.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to overall Finance Department goals and support cross-functional collaboration within the university.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferably ACCA, CA- Inter, CMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a university, donor-funded, or nonprofit environment.
- Hands-on experience in project accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
