Description:
The Manager Accounts will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and analytical skills and will play a crucial role in financial reporting and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking of vouchers, Ensuring completion & accuracy of data entry and their posting in ERP.
- Supervising & training juniors in their daily tasks.
- Liaison with internal auditors regarding issues in data entry & improvements required in the ERP system
- Checking & reconciliation of debtor and creditor balances.
- Accounts closing process (sale, purchase, insurance, markup calculations, etc.)
- Stock reconciliation with the operations department and analysis of monthly gain/loss, Noted cost calculation.
- Reconciliation of inter-company balances.
- Preparation of management accounts of Company.
- Checking import costs during the month.
- Monthly stock reports for banks.
- Review of PARCO interest working.
- Any other assignment as required by GM Finance.
- Manage annual closing process.
- Preparation of management accounts of all group companies.
- Liaison with external auditors, Preparation of financial statements projections and other required documents for VIS credit rating agency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- CA Qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
